This organization has created eRetire portal, a service that lets the employees view their retirement related options and details without any hassles or difficulties. eRetire section lets the employees view all the available retirement plans they are eligible for or the one they have opted for. Sometimes, there are more than one plans and employees can pick the one that fits them the best.
USPS Employee retirement criterion
Now, there are some conditions that must be met for the employees to be eligible for the retirement plans. But, don’t worry. The conditions aren’t very stringent. There are just some basic requirements.
There are two options for retirement:
- The first one is for those who only have 5 or less years left for retirement
- The second option is for those employees who have either already retired or have qualified to opt for the retirement plan. Employees who have 6 or less months left for retirement qualify for this option.
Employees looking to opt for the retirement plan need to fill the LiteBlue USPS employee retirement application. For this, they need to visit the eRetire segment of the LiteBlue login. Here is how it is done:
- Use any web browser and visit the webpage https://liteblue.usps.gov/wps/portal
- Log in with your employee ID and password
- Click the ‘MyHR’ option on the top
- You should now see the ‘Employee App’ somewhere on the next page that loads
- Now, you will see the list of all the available apps. Click ‘eRetire’ to proceed
eRetire is the service meant for the employees who have already retired or are within 5 years from retirement. This service lets you view all your retirement options and plans.
